Recent Birding 10/5-11/12

I am back after a month long break from blogging.  It was due to sickness and a lot of homework.  I have been so busy that I have had little time to go bird watching.  Here are a few pictures from the little birding I did during the past month.
"Myrtle" Yellow-rumped Warbler in my frontyard on 10/12.
"Cassiar's" Dark-eyed Junco in my yard on 10/18.
The "Cassiar's" Dark-eyed Junco is an uncommon winter resident in Nebraska.  It is an intergrade between the "Slate-colored" and "Oregon" Dark-eyed Juncos.  This bird can be separated from the "Slate-colored" Junco by its contrasting dark hood, gray sides, and brown back.
Le Conte's Sparrow at Tranquility Park, Omaha, NE on 10/19.

Black-throated Green Warbler at Standing Bear Lake, Omaha, NE on 10/19.
"Red" Fox Sparrow in my backyard on 10/31.
Chipping Sparrow in my backyard on 11/5.
This Chipping Sparrow surprised me when it showed up in my backyard on 11/5.  It was my latest Chipping Sparrow in Nebraska, there are only stragglers in November.
